Originally from New York, my journey into the beauty industry began long before Masking Perfection Nails became what it is today.

After working in a corporate environment, I found myself wanting a change of scenery and a different direction in life. Connecticut’s greenery and quieter surroundings drew me in, and what started as a personal transition eventually became an opportunity to turn my longtime gift and passion for nails into a full-time career.

As I became more familiar with the beauty industry in Connecticut, I recognized an opportunity to offer a different level of nail care. I knew I could bring value through attention to detail, quality services, and a more personalized client experience.

I began offering mobile nail services, continued building my clientele while booth renting, and gained valuable experience navigating the business side of the beauty industry. Every stage taught me something about consistency, professionalism, customer service, and what it takes to build a business people trust.

Eventually, I decided it was time to establish a space of my own. Hamden, Connecticut, felt like the right fit. I appreciated the location, its accessibility, and the convenience of ample parking for my clients. More importantly, it gave me the opportunity to create the private, appointment-only salon experience I had envisioned.

As my career evolved, I continued investing in my education and developing my expertise in Russian manicure techniques, structured gel services, and detailed dry nail care. Today, Masking Perfection Nails reflects the standards I’ve developed through years of hands-on experience.

For me, beautiful nails are only part of the experience. How clients are welcomed, how their time is respected, and the care that goes into every appointment matter just as much.

Beyond the salon, I also share my knowledge through educational content for beauty professionals, with a focus on technique, client experience, professionalism, and the business practices that help build and retain a clientele.

Masking Perfection Nails is more than a business I’ve built. It’s a reflection of the experience I’ve gained, the standards I believe in, and the value I want to continue bringing to the beauty industry.
