At Masking Perfection Nails, we believe a seamless appointment experience begins before you arrive. Please review our booking procedures and salon policies to help ensure a smooth, organized, and enjoyable visit.
Masking Perfection Nails is an appointment-only nail studio located in Hamden, Connecticut.

Monday–Sunday | 9:30 AM–6:30 PM
Appointment Availability
Appointments are released on a rolling 60-day booking calendar. New appointment dates become available as the calendar advances.
All appointments must be scheduled through our online booking platform, GlossGenius, and are subject to approval.
Booking Responsibly
We kindly ask clients to reserve only appointments they genuinely intend to keep.
Please do not book multiple appointments to hold different dates or times while deciding which appointment works best for your schedule.
Doing so limits availability for other clients who are actively seeking appointments.
If your preferred appointment is unavailable, we encourage you to utilize our waitlist rather than reserve an appointment you may not be able to attend.
Selecting Your Service
Please carefully review service descriptions before booking to ensure you select the appropriate service (and add-ons) and allow sufficient time for your appointment.
New clients should review the applicable service requirements and preparation instructions before scheduling.
Booking Communication
All appointment requests, changes, and availability inquiries should be handled through our official booking platform.
Most services require a deposit to secure an appointment. The required deposit amount will be displayed during the booking process.
A valid credit or debit card must remain on file to secure appointments and cover applicable policy fees.

Deposits are applied toward the scheduled service, and any remaining balance is due at the appointment.
Masking Perfection Nails requires a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Appointments canceled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time are subject to a fee of 100% of the scheduled service total.
No-shows are also responsible for 100% of the scheduled service total.
A valid card is required to be kept on file for booking.

For the health and safety of our clients and service provider, please do not attend your appointment if you are experiencing symptoms of illness, including but not limited to fever, vomiting, contagious respiratory symptoms, or other symptoms that may pose a risk to others.
If you become ill, please contact Masking Perfection Nails as soon as possible so your appointment can be canceled or rescheduled appropriately.
Illness does not automatically waive our 48-hour cancellation policy.
Appointments canceled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time remain subject to the applicable late-cancellation fee, including when the cancellation is due to illness.
Clients should never attend an appointment while sick in an effort to avoid a cancellation fee.
Masking Perfection Nails reserves the right to decline or discontinue service when a client arrives displaying symptoms of illness.
If an appointment must be canceled upon arrival because of illness, the appointment remains subject to the applicable cancellation fee.
A 15-minute grace period is provided for late arrivals.
Depending on the amount of time remaining, your service may need to be adjusted to ensure appointments remain on schedule.
Arrival beyond the 15-minute grace period may result in the appointment being canceled.
If the appointment cannot be completed due to late arrival, the client remains responsible for the scheduled appointment total.
All appointment requests are subject to approval.
Clients receive appointment confirmations and reminders through our booking platform.
When prompted to confirm an upcoming appointment, clients are required to reply YES to the confirmation message.
Please ensure that the contact information provided during booking is accurate and up to date.

Understanding Our Booking Calendar
Dates displayed in gray are currently unavailable for booking. This may mean the date is fully booked or that appointments for that date have not yet been released.
A gray date does not necessarily mean the salon is closed.
How to Join the Waitlist
If your preferred appointment date or time is unavailable:
- Visit our booking website and select Book Now.
- Choose your desired service.
- Access the waitlist option.
- Enter your preferred appointment date and time, along with the requested contact information.
- Complete your waitlist registration and watch for appointment availability notifications.
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee an appointment. Openings are subject to cancellations, schedule changes, and availability.
To ensure a smooth appointment experience, please review the following guidelines before your visit.
- Review your selected service description and confirm that the appropriate service has been booked.
- Avoid applying oils or lotions to the nails immediately before your appointment.
- Please arrive on time and allow sufficient time for your scheduled service.
Proper Positioning During Your Manicure
For manicure appointments, please sit comfortably upright and extend your hands fully onto the manicure table.
Proper positioning allows your nail technician to work with greater precision while reducing unnecessary reaching and physical strain.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping maintain a comfortable and efficient service experience.
Masking Perfection Nails may photograph or record portions of nail services for professional portfolio, educational, website, and social media content.
Photography and video may include the client’s hands, feet, nails, and portions of the service process.
Clients’ faces will not be intentionally recorded or published without additional permission.
Private conversations are not intended for publication. Background audio may be muted, removed, or replaced during editing.
Clients who prefer not to participate in photography or video recording may notify the salon before their service.
Declining photography or video participation will not affect the quality of care or service provided.
Any identifiable facial footage, voice recordings, interviews, or testimonials intended for publication will require additional permission.
